Our story

Thailand should be a destination, not an obstacle course.

Wheelchair Taxi Thailand was born out of one frustrating airport pickup. Today we're the country's first dedicated accessible private van service — built by people who have actually pushed a wheelchair through Suvarnabhumi at 2am.

Mission

Make accessible travel in Thailand feel ordinary.

Bangkok is one of the world's most visited cities, but ask any wheelchair user and you'll hear the same story: tuk-tuks won't take you, regular taxis can't fit the chair, and "accessible vans" usually mean a tradesman's van with a plank for a ramp.

We do one thing: a Hyundai Staria with a hydraulic ramp, an professional driver who knows how to secure a wheelchair properly, and a fixed price quoted before you confirm. No surge pricing. No "the meter is broken." No surprises at the destination.

What we stand for

Four things we won't compromise on.

Safety first

Every van is fitted with a certified Rehatrans hydraulic ramp and 4-point wheelchair restraints. Drivers complete formal passenger-transfer training before their first solo ride.

Dignity over hustle

No queue at the airport. No back-and-forth haggling. No improvised lifts by untrained porters. Just a professional door-to-door ride at a price you agree before you book.

Family-grade service

Most of our customers travel with elderly parents, partners or children. We design every detail — from the cabin space to the driver's English level — for the whole group, not just the passenger.

Built for visitors

We speak English, German and Thai. We accept card and cash. We know which hotels have step-free entrances and which beach piers can take a wheelchair at low tide. Ask us anything.
